A Droid-y Saturday Update

It's Saturday, and chances are, a good majority of us are taking advantage of the lull before Monday. For us at Android Alliance, we're just happy about our homey new look. Outside, where everyone is catching on to the Android craze, however, here are the things that went down:

• Cherry Mobile had a major product launch on 11/11/2011, unveiling 3 new tabs, 1 premium Droid phone, 1 mid-range Droid, and 2 entry-level Droids. We're telling the story tomorrow.
• The Samsung Galaxy Y has caught fire in both Smart Communications and Sun Cellular mobile networks. Watch out for info on these on Monday.
• Cherry Mobile will most likely have an Android and other phone sales this Christmas.

This week, we're pushing back our regular Android news in favor of Sale lists and other alerts for Bargains. We'll have both a Sale Alert and a Bargain Hunter special each this week, so watch out for that. We're all gearing for December, as we know we're all looking for ideas on what to give our loved ones this Christmas. It's an exciting time in the Droid universe!
